What does Vakalatnama mean in plain words?
A pleader can act for you in court only if you appoint him by a signed written document, which is filed in court. It stays in force until it ends with the court's leave by a signed writing filed in court, or until you or the pleader dies, or until all proceedings in the suit are over.
