What does Civil case mean in plain words?
It is about private rights, not crime. One person (the plaintiff) files a suit against another (the defendant), both sides present evidence, and the court gives a decree. Courts can try every suit of a civil nature unless the law bars it (section 9). The relief can be money, a declaration or possession, or an order to do or stop doing something.
